About Madison and Yogagen:
Hello! Thanks for being you, and being here. My name is Madison, my yoga practice started in 2009 and I’m an intuitive subtle power yoga instructor, acro yoga instructor, and meditation guide.
My app, The Yogagen Journal App is a great way for you to keep track of your yoga progress, and learn intuitively from personal yoga feedback!
I was inspired to create this resource after doing the Acrovinyasa Level 1 instagram challenge, which led me to becoming an acro instructor. This was a 90 day Instagram yoga challenge that prompted me to take 45 Asana photos, and 45 acro pose photos. With some guidance from the Acrovinyasa instagram, my acro partner and I (we both had never done acro) taught ourselves the level 1 Acrovinyasa curriculum simply by taking yoga selfie, after yoga selfie, after yoga selfie. It was this photo/video feedback process that gave us insight on what we were doing wrong, and how we might fix out alignment and plans for achieving a successful pose.
This tool was so valuable to me as someone who didn’t have an instructor around to give tips, that I wanted to optimize this process and share it with all the yogis and yoginis here on earth. The Yogagen app is a tool for you to log yoga selfies, and analytic journal entries with them so that over time you can keep track of your yoga journey and experience exponential intuitive growth.
