It’s the middle of January and I got to sit outside and chat with my friend today in the bright and warm sunshine. How blessed I feel with this weather in Denver!
Sunshine feels so good to just bask in and enjoy. It has this way with presence - like every time I feel the brilliance of a sun ray I feel grateful for the right here and now.
A common theme in my classes this month is gratitude. From my experience every time you express your appreciation for this world in some shape or form, it reflects that gratitude back to you. We are all mirrors for each other, and this earth and your experience here too is a reflection of your self.
The more beauty you see in the world, the more your beauty will be seen by the world. The more you give genuine thanks, the more those thanks will be given to you.
Mother Earth yearns for your presence, she yearns for your attention, she yearns for your awe. It can be a tedious task to keep her at the front of your attention with so many other things happening to pull you away from the present and back into the future thinking or past reflecting though, and that is understandable.
Presence is a practice and a habit that comes with consistency. It becomes ever more enthralling the more that you indulge, and you find out just how your journey is supported here as a human on earth.
