You know that voice in your head... the one that questions everything you do?
That is your ego, its purpose is constantly question the things you choose to do because it is only worried about itself and its safety. We are the souls that move and inspire our human bodies. We are the self that is connected to infinite energy, that is in fact a piece of that infinite loving energetic "body".
Your ego questions every single thing it doesn't seemingly, definitely know is true. Our egos contrast our divine energy in a challenging yet complementing way, they distrust our intuition until it is proven right. But the thing is that intuition is often a tool of future understanding and clarity, so it will never be proven in the moment you think about it.
Looking back, our intuition will show us how all things in our lives are linked and meant for a reason but it can't prove to your human brain that reason without proof! It's a conundrum for us humans. To trust our intuition or to listen to the brain. The head or the heart?
Here are 3 steps to help you trust your intuition (heart) over your analytical thinking (head)
1. think of 5 things you are grateful for
2. meditate for 2 minutes, focusing on your breath
3. journal your thoughts and questions regularly
It doesn't hurt to look back on journal entries and see where you were just a week or so ago, and how you got to the mindset that you are in now. Speak to yourself as if all the things you want are already coming to you, because they are. If you're still feeling flighty when it comes to focus and answers, look into doing or receiving a tarot reading! One of my favorite tarot reference books is Tarot Plain and Simple.
Tarot is a beautiful and peaceful energetic tool used for clarity and direction for the self. It gives your human self context and forecast of your spiritual purpose and plans thereof.
Tarot is an intuitive tool that gives tangible evidence of pattern and knowledge to the conscious human self. Use it with love, kindness, and objectivity. Listen to your true self and don't allow one smidge of self doubt to interfere.
